We're off again to the state of Guerrero, Mexico, where Waterloo Road Baptist Church has been serving since 1990. Our strategic partnership with STBS, the Baptist Seminary in San Jeronimito, has given us the opportunity to see the world thru missional eyes. This year we celebrate our 21st annual mission trip as a church. Please be in prayer for us this week as we minister thru leadership training seminars, vacation bible schools, evangelism, EvangeCube training, an eyeglasses ministry and just plain old fellowship with our brothers in Christ in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.

The journey .........

Ok, so the trip was a little painful.......... First of all we had to leave at 3 am ....... that was bad enough but a member of our group, who will remain unnamed, thought we were leaving at 3PM............ Mundo Cardenas went to their house, woke them up, drove down I-35 at an unknown speed to catch up with us at I-35 and SE89th St. Unfortunately, he missed the turn off for 89th street....... went one mile more south, exited, and drove the wrong way down a one way street for a mile to get back to us at 89th St. It was actually kinda funny - except all this was seen by one of OKC's Finest. Again, Jackson Blosser was able to intervene, throw his weight around with the totally ticked off officer and Mundo ( all of us really) escaped unscathed. That's how our day started :-)

Trying to check in at the airport with a big group is always fun. Due to some sort of conflict with names on the ticket opposed to names on the passport, one of our party ALMOST didn't get to fly out of Dallas with us.........

AIrplane shot out my window............ yepper, that's beach down there

So, we land, head to the airport, check in, then go eat. After that I came back to my room and went to sleep at 7pm and didn't wake up till 6:45am :)
