We're off again to the state of Guerrero, Mexico, where Waterloo Road Baptist Church has been serving since 1990. Our strategic partnership with STBS, the Baptist Seminary in San Jeronimito, has given us the opportunity to see the world thru missional eyes. This year we celebrate our 21st annual mission trip as a church. Please be in prayer for us this week as we minister thru leadership training seminars, vacation bible schools, evangelism, EvangeCube training, an eyeglasses ministry and just plain old fellowship with our brothers in Christ in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.

Tuesday

Here we are back at the Acilo ........ the center for abandoned adults for Day 2 of VBS and neighborhood evangelism.......

This dude here was the first guy we visited........ his name is Francisco and he accepted Christ after a short (make that very short) conversation....... I'm thinking that maybe he just wanted us off his front porch.......... and I'm not just being humorous this time :-/

These characters here, on the other hand, did not accept Christ....... there is a strong Jehovah Witness influence in the neighborhood

This is Santiago's front yard........ I believe that the Lord had two purposes in mind when He sent us here......... 1) to make me feel better about the condition of my front yard and 2) to bring the Good News to Santiago's household. Both goals were accomplished........ more about Santiago later

Back at the Acilo, they were preparing for the preaching service, but first

we had to finish singing the "Big Apple" VBS songs.

Griff had the brilliant idea of taking pics of the kiddos and then then next day, give the kids their pictures....... it was a big hit.

Posted using BlogPress from my iPad located on the 11th floor of Hotel Dorado Pacifico ............. on the beach in Ixtapa, Guerrero, MX
